April 3d 1881 from Kew

Centradenia floribunda – 2 sets of anthers taller only white stand opposite sepals, & shorter bright yellow anther

anther stand opposite petals! both plenty of pollen – Stand surrounding straight pistil. No, in fully – open flower anthers with connective bowed outward all round centre of flower, with fork-like appendages surrounding pistil & wd be moved by any insect visiting the flower (a) (Back)

Centradenia rosea very different – more like monochætum with appendage very broad & bright yellow.

Bertolonia marmorata - in bud little or no difference in the 2 sets of anthers

[21v]

I have looked again at the thin yellow anther of this Centradenia & they contain a little pollen in a poor state; but then the pollen in the large purple anther also poor.
