degree of perfection of the Geological records, cannot be more clear if a collection was sent for one day to Australia Africa, America & Europe - & if they were to give us a notion of the existing Fauna – Or rather not to visit say two of the continuing to represent gaps in the sequence - & told not to collect, contain classes. – Gaps must be chief cause.
