Athenaeum /41/ p. 228. Geolog. Soc. Owen teeth from Warwickshire of Phytosaurus. properly belonging to the Batrachian order of reptiles - new Red Sandstone!! calls it Labyrinthodon - no investigation of recent teeth could have given idea of singular & complicated modification of dental structure in these teeth - Hence reverse of greater simplicity in old ages - Cuidado!
