Feb /48/ Forbes has admirable ideas on the unity in time of genus (such as I worked out in Pictet) & unity in space (mem Mitra of glacial period)

Forbes remarks that the representative species of Southern hemisphere are an exception; I believe not, only two areas separated by ice-period - yet it makes strong apparent exception.
