Falconer strong that Purbeck fossil have not teeth like archynoid or most general: but then Owen thinks all marsupials & by restricting Owen law, this wd not be effected. As by further modification of species embryo at present wd be less changed, then adults, embryo now, however different from mature; wd be still more like each other than they wd be hereafter. But only in same line of descent.
