Ch. Geolog.  Add after Craven Fault

Prof. Ramsay has published an account of a downthrow in Anglesea of 2300 ft, & he informs me that in Merionethshire there is another, of [illeg] fully conceived twelve-thousand feet; & yet in these cases there is nothing on the surface to show such prodigious dislocations; The pile of rocks on the one or the other side having been swept away.
