On the Pliocene Fauna of the Niobrara river by Dr Leidy. In this as in the Miocene Nebraska Fauna, the Edentata are absent. In these 2 Faunas there are no less than 12 animals in the Horse family. There is a Rhinoceros in the Pleiocene stage approaching the Indian Rhinos. Dr L. remarks that this Fauna is more nearly allied to the recent one of the old world than to that of the new world.
