To make analogy perfect between Feather-hyacinth & Cauliflower, the buds of latter should keep fresh, whilst some of them produce flowers.— I presume in flower- feather-hyacinth buds from earliest date of the perfect & imperfect are different, wh is not so in Cauliflower— A pity
(Does any part of cauliflower always remain in bud-state.)
As good case of abortion—
Every bud of Cauliflower might be developed into flower— not so in F. Hyacinth.
