32 species; of which 19 have sexes more or less separated; counting only half a dozen willows. They belong to 9 families, of which 5 have sexes separated

(Properly I ought to count how many mono- & dioicious & polygamus plants in Britain)

(There may be some wholly different [illeg] in this case; in animal kingdom, I shd have suspected that it was related to a more highly developed structure, as separation of sexes clearly goes with highness.)
