Smithia pfundii. new aquatic plant— Africa
No bloom on cotyledons — not irritable.
Let. says go half to sleep at about 9°. P.m
Do not go in lest to sleep — thick & fleshy — intermediate condition with hypogean of colour of Copper-beech.—
Leaves go to sleep Lettington says splendidly
Ap. 7 9°. 15' leaflets rise during sleep but do not come into contact.— & point towards apex of leaf: Petioles certainly rise considerably during sleep.
Ap. 16 on plants 3-4 inches high the true pinnated leaves do not appear to be in the least sensitive. They are covered with good bloom.
