Trifolium resupinatum 1877

Terminal leaflets at nearly ∟ to light — N.E window — stem not secured.—

Sept 19th day uniformly foggy & no change of light so that the loop performed between 9° 30' & abut 12° 30' in no way caused by light — Retrograde between 10° 15' & 11° 10'.—

Sept 20th same leaflet observed — leaf first went down, I suppose the uncurling of the infolded might not get completed; at 9° 30 had risen considerably — no change of light to account for this. The little triangle formed between 11° 50' & 12° 35 probably due to light, for though day hazy there were gleam of light.—

There is considerable resemblance between the figure during the 2 days, but the retrograde movement later in day, viz 12° 15' & 1° 30' at 1° 50'— leaflet remained at same point for 40'
