Sept 8th 8° 15' P.m 1877

Lupinus polyphyllus

Leaves with long petioles rising from the earth — during day & night, most of the leaves horizontal stars with the leaflets a little upturned, but a few leaves have now at night. The longer leaflets of star up turned which make me think the sp. normally forms a star (not definite enough for my use)
