Tendril young but capable of catching hold movements traced on bell glass by "line"-ing the tip of the tendril with its base. The movement was about at right angles to the light, but being in a green house the light was not very unilateral. The back wall ran east & west & then tendril pointed South
3.40 pm to 4.50 pm an irre ellipse three times as long as broad
(a) 4.50 to 5.7 an irregular ellipse in a different direction
(a) (b) 5.7 to 5.17 ─ one small zig zag about 1/5th or 1/4th of the size of the full sweep of the tendril
(b) 5.19 to 5.26 another ditto ─ the
It then started off on the big sweep making another still smaller loop c just after starting, it went to the These 3 smaller loops or zigzag are at the east end of the sweep. At the W end it made one small & & one very large zig zag e which spoilt the ellipse & the tendril got back to the E end 6° 6'. From 6 to 7 another large ellipse made
