Lilium auretum between 2 & 3 ft high.

Apogeotropism

March 18th to morning of 20' 1878

Observed at same time & manner as Rubus.

We see hardly a trace of circumnutation on first day Rose all night During 2d day well marked circumnutation making 2 & 1/2 circles figure but at the same time apogeotropism was acting from stem rose considerably during day— Fell next night—

At close of observation stem was stood 57° above horizon— was horizontal
