Phalaris. 2 Seedlings— Apogeotropism of Cots.

Ap. 5' to morning of Ap. 6th Traced like yesterday, except that the vertical glass turned to dark side of room, & covered with curtain except when observed. Bot[h] ascended from 8° 10 a.m to 9° 10 P.m & then both sunk nearly parallel to rise.— Right-hand Plant old & protruded true leaf in course of day & so did not move so much up. or become nearly so highly inclined as left-Hand one— Only traces of circumnutation in left Hand spec.—; Plainer in old right-hand Plant
