Desmodium gyrans.
Ap. 9. 1878 There is a note somewhere about bloom on first pair of leaves— tried again today— on the none on the old Cots— on 2d pair perhaps a trace of bloom — on 3d true leaf some bloom for water wd not adhere well — on 4th leaf as good bloom as possible— could not make drop of water adhere at all.—
