Beautifully protected, at little knobs of wax.— when drop of S. Ether placed 2 or 3 times on leaf flows & evaporates & leaves on border crust of redeposited wax.—

Spot thus cleaned & cleared by dry rubbing well wetted with water & when taken out water adheres firmly to the wet surface & cannot be easily shaken off.—
