Eucalyptus? (1) trace of bloom I think (& injury by ether) but upper wetted surface & even lower surface wetted by water of 55° very considerably edges of leaf sub-vertical

─ (2) an undoubted Eucalyptus with fine bloom on upper & lower surface — quite removed by ether & thoroughly by 1m of water 79°- to 78°, both surfaces edges of leaf vertical

3 excellent bloom on both surface judging by cold water edges of leaves sub-vertical

4 narrow foliate leaves— shook for 30s in cold water at 56° bloom not affected,— shook in w. at 79° for 30s. & bloom removed off both sides.— good edges of leaf quite vertical.
