Syringed Trifolium pannonicumwith water at 71° — No effect— Temp of day 61

Syringed— Tri: repens, pannonicum resupinatum incarnatum, repens fragiferum.

Did not wake up for in 1/2 hr but in 2 hrs 20' was quite awake

alsike "Trefoil" Ochroleukcum & "common red" with water at 43° & 45° with no effect except "common red", many of the leaflets of which move slightly, & 3 leaves had in a few minutes all 3 leaflets vertical, but the terminal one did not turn over like a roof

 

All these clover were syringed w water at temp of air w no effect.

I also immersed for abt 1/4 hr leaves of T. incarnatum repens, fragiferum & resupinatum in water at 46° w no effect
