Acacia Farnesiana:

Bush kept dark, moderately young leaf, with branch branch tied close to base of petiole; observed as by annexed figure, [sketch] traced on vertical glass from 8° 10' to 10° 5— During this time annexed tracing made. Between 12° 45' & 4° zig-zagged on small scale much. We may conclude that main petiole of leaf as nutates considerably & this is all that can be inferred. — Rose mostly in morning & fell in evening.—
