Acacia Farnesiana

The leaflets are not quite shut

They are not perpendicular—

The leaves had not changed since in position since 6— But I believe they have changed since day time

Nov. 20th plant not very healthy 8º 45' P.m leaflets not closely shut, nor did dipping in water produce any effect.— I can see no change in position of pinna the whole leaf.— leaflets move up towards opposite pair in act of sleep — (I looked again at Mimosa marginata, & leaflets not quite close & no change in position of whole leaf from the day.)—

(Nov. 24th 9º 40' P.m. I daresay young leaves, judging from Mimosa marginata, wd shut close; during sleep.—)
