"Sea-side species"
Nov. 7' shaking 2 young plants for 2' caused leaflets of young leaves, before the 2' expired to twist so as to present their edges to the zenith. Syringing with tepid water with Ether-spray, which shook leaves but little produced same effect—
(well asleep 9° P.m) in usual way.—
