Ap. 18'.— upper puncture only just perceptible swelling— lower ones with + Formic A— very large, almost globular swelling.

Cereus Pot. 2. Ap. 4. Above yellow wool. 3 point with 1 percent sol. of nicotine (old) — Below yellow wool— 3 point with sol. of 1/2 Sol of Quinine & 1/2 of the nicotine

Below white wool — 3 points with old oleic a.

(Ap. 18. above yellow very minute swelling (perhaps more puncture & grafting wax does this) Below yellow one puncture a little swollen) Below white w. slight swelling.

(6

Pelargonium zonale. Pot I. Ap 5. Above White Thread— 2 points on stem & petiole of youngish leaf injected with con. sol. of S. of Quinine.— But the short young internode on summit with 1/2 sol. of Quinine & 1/2 formic acid 1 drop to 60 of water.
