Glaucium luteum.
Seedling Plant, with hardly any stem — 8 leaves developed besides Cot.? That with filament, the youngest but one, 3 inches in length including petiole — Apex 5½ inches from vertical glass. — Under skylight— See tracing — Observed from morning of 14th to morning of 16th — Apex descends till abut 11° a.m. & then ascends during rest of day & large part of night— begin descending very early in morning, viz from somewhat before 7° a.m. Manifest circumnutation in vertical plane.—
Temp. on 14th? 16° to 16 ½ C. on 15th? 15 to 15 ½ C.
