Azalea-Indica

Azalea in pot taken out of green house to my downstairs room with fire— Glass filament fixed to shoot, paper mark & horizontal glass. Japanese screen all round so that light came in at top— Plant was moved same day observation began— Multiplying power various, 40 or 50 times — Bush 21 inches high to top of shoot observed. —

Bushes selected for trial as less likely to circumnutate.

I consider no doubt about circumnutation— young shoot tried.
