Cyclamen Persicum

The seedling before it rises from ground consist of a tuber with roots at base & from this a stem like body rises, which apparently is the petiole of the single cotyledon, with no trace of 2d Cot.— This supposed Petiole rises like an arch with the blade of Cot closely infolded & often still enclosed within seed-coats, after rising above Earth
