May 7. 79 The half bean (caustic) drawn with camera— The line shows the limit between root cap & root & the black shows the amount of injury which is certainly present. The blackening of root cap may perhaps go a little further towards the base of the root. At the apex there are 2 or 3 rows of cells on the root side of the line between root & root cap which are yellow
