Mach 23d 8° 30' a.m.— fixed 2 beans to inclined glasses marked ( III) (IV)
24th 8° a.m No III. less inclined. almost reached base of glass in straight line.
No IV has bowed round at right angles & has travelled along top of glass: this is the radicle which I pricked accidentally; changed position of bean so that it may travel down glass.
