12° 45. P.m. — ie middle of day.— Black dots on tips of Cotyledons

 distance of dots on Cots: Distance apart of summits of petioles

(1) Pin Cots ⊙ Pet ⊙

(2) Pins Cots ⊙ Pet ⊙

(3 Pins) Cots ⊙ Pet ⊙

(4 Pins) Cots ⊙ Pet ⊙

Observe when gone, grown whether the seedlings are truly T. resupinatum

Dec. 14th These are certainly true T. resupinatum, because first single true leaf has bloom above & none below.

9° 10' P.m no difference whatever in any of these measurements. So that no trace of Sleep.—

(There is no trace of Pulvinus or joint on petioles of Cotyledons)
