Mirabilis longiflora.— Cots horizontal at day — at 10° P.m, both closed & vertical — Cots very unequal in size

Ap. 11th The cots which on 11th were vertical are so no longer, but some younger seedlings have cots closely shut together & vertical

Ap 11th M. jalapa— smaller cot. vertical— larger one highly inclined.

Ap. 14th 10° P.m. The petioles diverge much in day & rise up at night & Cotyledons in close contact & vertical— Splendid sleep.—
