Trifolium strictum

Nov 21 8 48 pm

4 are well asleep & on all the left cotyled is slewed & the upper surface of true leaf turns to left when the leaf is towards the observer— marked with paper squares. [sketch]

Nov 24. 10 30 pm noticed 2 additional slewed before the true leaf is big enough to reach up.

Nov 25. 9° 8 ' pm 5 sleep to left including the two of Nov 24. — 9 observed by Frank.—Nov 28th 9° 15' P.m 2 or 3 more observed by me

The first true leaf with lower side turned quite to zenith. (This will make 15 observed altogether) & all have left. cot which slews. +4. am

Bloom on both sides of first true leaf.

(Nov 29' 9° 15' P.m I have found 1 seedling with right cot slewed & first true leaf turned towards it a little; but seedlings not in good state for the left cot. did not rise at night.)

I think petiole of left cot, rather sensitive to rubbing, but am not sure.
