Birmingham Philosophical Society

At a meeting of the members of the Birmingham Philosophical Society, held at the Mason Science College on Thursday April 27th 1882, it was moved by the President, the Rev. H. W. Watson F.R.S.; & seconded by Prof. Tilden F. R. S. and unanimously resolved that this Society [illeg] to express its deep sense of the irreparable loss to Science in the Death of its honorary member, the late Mr. Darwin; & its hearty condolence with his widow & family on their bereavement.
