[31a]

A general feeling exists that the University of Cambridge should not be without a memorial to Mr CHARLES DARWIN.

It is proposed that a Meeting of resident Members of the University be held at 3 o'clock on Monday the 26th inst., to consider the best form to be taken by such Memorial.

The Meeting will be held in the Combination Room of Christ's College (of which Society Mr Darwin is a member), by the kind consent of the Master and Fellows.

Nov. 20, 1877.
