on July 22d. I placed in salt-water Pods of Blue Bell, Geranium, Chervil Vetch, Ervum, Dock, Geum, Lolium & Ajuga all were sunk in 21 days & most were gone in 10 or 14 days.
Aug 12th put in salt water 1 Arrhenatherum 2 Common Plantago, 3 Columbine, 4 Mahonia. After 8 days, Columbine had sunk, Sept 3d. i e in 22 days all sunk.
