L. Graferri — Stem— 12 Stem diffuse branched— L. alternate, lower eliptic oblong, upper linear-lanceolate. Pet. 6 teeth of calyx mostly sebaceous connivint— (no mention of bracts).

L. Preslii— Stem mostly simple, erect, with 4 winged angles. L. alternate, cordate not oblong— Pet 6— teeth of calyx short spreading. fl. nearly as large as salicaria. moist Sicily — B. considers it same as Grafferi.
