Beds of fossil Potamomya now found 40 ft above level of river & from 2 1/2 to 3 miles inland situation: Chacara de los Belamitas [Bethlemitas] on the road to San Isidro near the arroyo de Medrano. ─ always found on highest banks

at the Arroyo del Tristan, near Ecuador reddish good Tosca, hard & distant one & a quarter leagues with very imperfect fragments of shells, this in G Tolenis exactly like the substance embedding the Potomomya
