I believe or it, from Falkland & Valdivia &c when inclination little, like folded bed, but never horizontal — where elevation great, we see most highly inclined strata — general role of cleavage lamination is above 45º —

NB. The laminae of quartz at M. Video, from being connected with veins, not a layer of silaceous sand metamorphosed.
