Linn. Trans. 17 p. 533. "E. Forster observations on the Esula major Germanica"— The Euphorbia pilosa or palustris. (doubtful which it really is) lately discovered brought into notice by Mr. Babington, was found 260 years ago in the same neighbourhood & probably by side of same wood near Bath. — It is perhaps, however, originally an escaped plant.

& amongst these plants, one produced a scope of Catasetum tridentatum"; saw this himself. (I fancy sown in America) — " Here were have traces of bisexuality in Orchidææ, for he never saw seeds in 100s plants of Cat. tridentatum, while Monochanthus viridis abounded with seeds. —
