Revd W. B. Clarke of St Leonards near Sidney in letter of Jan. 1862 tells me that he has Known Hive-bee attack & destroy Kill stingless native Bee, — at other times live peaceably with them even under same shed.— The Hive-Bee now naturalised in native forests. Certainly native-bees now rare when they were formerly common.— Good case of allied forms exterminating each other.—
