June 24'/56/ compared flowers & leaves of the several Pois sans Parchemin & cd perceive no difference except tallness, & size & flower being either purple or white

Lewis Negro-podded Pea & Berkeley sans Parchemin have flowers identical though Pods so different in colour; if any difference Negro has paler standard. There are 2 Peas sans parchemin with pink wings — these have pale red marks on bracteas. All the dark peas have darker red mark.—

one of these grows in very odd way in whorls, with 3 or 4 flowers on stalk & with fistulous stem
