Correct Numbers

Correct all by

Mr. Watson has of Dicots: 1031 numbered species, from these, there must be subtracted 105, of Hibernian, a few Incognitos, Aliens, & Aliens (?). leaving 926 species—

In Monocots', Mr. W has 340 species, from these 28, as above must be subtracted leaving 312 species

Hence of Mon Dicots & Monocots together there are 1238 species, with the above exclusions.

Of true "aliens" without a (?) there are

Dicot. 76

Monocot 16

Total 92

Of genera of true "Aliens" [do] [do]

Dicot. 65

Mono 11

[total] 76

The number of Genera, excluding the Aliens Hibernians, Sarnians, Incog in Dicot. is 363. Do [do] [do] in Monocots is 105

[total] 468

These figures are correct. Therefore Every Calculation erroneous, though on right principle
