June 3— 1843. To my surprise I saw Hive-Bees visiting in numbers the common Polygala— Saw Humble-Bees at Lathræa, which were also bitten — X Aug. 22d/43/ Saw Hive-bees at Kidney-beans.— they sucked the usual left-side.—
