A poor unattractive bunch of Anothera with 5 flowers was visited in 15 minutes by nine diff humble bees— they entered 11 flowers— one, on leading the -flower was visited 8 times.— // In 19 minutes a tuft with 8 flowers of Nemophila insignis each flower was twice visited by 2 bees

In 15 minutes a tuft of 5 flowers of Escoltzia was visited by four 3 bees entering 4 flowers.
