At the meeting of the British Association at Belfast in 1874 John Lubbock gave an address on 'Common wild flowers considered in relation to insects'.

It appears from Lubbocks address that Ogle has written on Bees biting holes in Kidney Beans & differ according to species
H. Muller saw Bee first try to suck Primula elatior & then bite hole.—
