Dr. Roulin sur le tapir - probable that Tapir of Paraguay more aquatic than that of Guayana - Humboldt remarks that habits of animals differ in different districts of which Roulins thinks very true - in certain places the [species] is almost as aquatic as the cabiaï, in others same species hardly ever goes near water
