Dr. Roulin sur le tapir — probable that Tapir of Paraguay more aquatic than that of Guayana — Humboldt remarks that habits of animals differ in different districts of which Roulins thinks very true — in certain places the pecc is almost as aquatic as the cabiaï, in others same species hardly ever goes near water
