Truncate Comb & see how Bees will work — whether they do gnaw away — give them  [illeg]  vermilion of edge to tree near walk

See to inclination of axis of grey cells — if they cut away any [wall] — give them thick comb —

Put mem [more] pin-heads of vermilion or grey comb to see whether or cell not coloured.
