The examination of oldish combs shows clearly that marginal ridge is related & piled up (see small brown slice in spec drawer) in relation to each plane of trihedral base

In young combs, where wax is piled up in superabundance & rather irregularly this symmetry is lost & hence misled Huber. In old comb it is like (a) [sketch] (b) [sketch] in young it is like with medial wall sending off branches.
