The united anthers are bent & open towards gangway - They rest against back of corolla so cannot be pushed back as in Lobelia; but in conjunction the lower edge of axilia of anther is provided with long then rigid trigger-like Projector, which insect must push in nectary, & at right period when stem is down a flint of pollen is forced out.- Stigma protrudes & opens afterward- Swarm with thrips & is perhaps thus fertilised.-
