July marked 6 fl. on a plant under net, none produced capsules; whereas other flowers produced plenty

 

July 21

Another plant with 16 unopened flowers - all others picked off - This plant had previously produced plenty of seed- & produced a good many under the net; but not so many as a plant alongside which was not covered up.
