I fd. female Holly - anthers no trace of pollen (I examined very many bushes) 60 [illeg] yards from any other tree, on windy day & other gloomy weather & not very good for Bees, which swarm the Holly tree & I cut off 20 stigmas on all pollen from several wings wh many in quite [surface] scores of grains on the surface
Dichogamy
Very little Pollen on the 4 stamens of males.
